There's definitely nothing wrong about loving neutrals. They're easy to wear and pair. You can almost always get away with wearing them no matter the occasion. But you know what they say; variety is the spice of life. And as much as we're happy to see neutrals, we love a pop of colour, too, once in a while.
If you're looking for ways to jazz up an outfit, here are some fun color options.
This is easiest (and non-committal) way to wear color. See it as your baptism of fire for adding more hues in your wardrobe. Carry a bag in a fun color and use it to liven up your all-black or all-neutral outfit.
Cinch with it
Take it a step further by wearing the color but still quite modestly through a colored belt. Go for brown if you're still feeling a bit conservative or red if you're really trying to dive into it.
Get the best of both worlds by wearing a printed dress. Choose one that has a base color you're most comfortable with but has a fun print to show off a little playfulness. Florals are always great, but you can also choose other prints like paisley, ikat and plaids.
Say it with accessories
Accessories can make or break an outfit, and they can also be a good way to add a pop of color to your overall look. Quick tip: choose one focal point. You are, after all, looking for a pop of color and not a wash of it that might be overpowering.
On your feet
A great way to liven up a monochromatic outfit is by adding a pop of color through your shoes. You can go for a bold color or something that has lots of different hues. This pair, for starters, is a great way to complement an all-black or all-white outfit.
